YenBai – On April 25 (ie March 17, Giap Thin), Hop Minh ward, Yen Bai city held the Mother’s Commemoration Festival of Ba Ao Trang Temple in 2024. Lady Ao Dai Temple is a sacred temple, built in the 17th – 18th centuries thanks to the three families Nguyen, Ha, and Ly from Thanh Hoa and Phu Tho who came to explore and establish villages and hamlets in the former Lu Dien commune, now the Hop Minh ward, Yen Bai city. Through historical periods, Ba Trang White Temple is not only a place for spiritual and cultural activities of local people but also a place to mark important events and history of the country. As a custom, every year on March 17 of the lunar calendar, the Party Committee, government and people of Hop Minh ward organize the White Ao Dai Temple Festival. At the 2024 Festival Opening Ceremony, the Festival Organizing Committee of Hop Minh ward beat the drum to open the festival and performed rituals: playing notes, making offerings, and offering incense to honor the Mother Goddess.
Festival activities take place enthusiastically, attracting a large number of people in the region and tourists from all over to worship, sightsee, and offer incense to pay their respects to the Third Mother Goddess of Thoai Phu and her predecessors. , who openly painted and destroyed the land.
