On April 23, the Veterans Association of Thach Son commune held a conference to summarize the emulation movement “Exemplary Veterans”, period 2019-2024. Attending were leaders of the District CCB Association, leaders of Thach Son commune and nearly 100 typical CCB members, representing 437 CCB members in the entire commune.

In recent years, under the leadership of the Party Committee and the direction of the district CCB Association, officers and members of Thach Son commune’s CCB have always promoted the traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, leading by example in emulation movements. local patriotism; Participate in building the Party and government, protecting the People, maintaining political stability, social order and safety at the grassroots. In 5 years, the Association has admitted 49 new members, the rate of attracting members to the Association reached 98%. The movement “CCB helps each other reduce poverty, do good business”, improve lives, and take care of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of CCB members continues to be focused. The Association has proposed to resolve the health insurance regime for 165 members; took out unsecured loans from Social Policy Bank with a balance of over 6 billion VND to lend to members to develop production, increase income, and improve their lives. Up to now, the entire commune has 65% of CCB member households being well off and rich, with no poor member families according to multidimensional criteria. In the movement to build enhanced NTM communes and model NTM residential areas, the Association has propagated and mobilized officials, members and people to donate nearly 1,500 square meters.² land to expand rural roads; mobilized 380 working days to support plastering fences for policy families and families in difficult circumstances, repairing and building 7 new cultural houses and cultural institutions…, contributing to bringing the commune up to standard Advanced NTM commune in 2023. In addition, the movement of teamwork activities, culture and arts, sports, education of patriotic traditions, revolutionary heroism, self-reliance and self-reliance so that the youth and the movement to build association funds… are given attention, focused and implemented effectively.

At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Commune CCB Association approved the list of delegations to attend the Congress of the district-level “Exemplary CCB” movement for the period 2019-2024.
