From April 24 – 26, the Department of Informatics and Financial Statistics (Ministry of Finance) coordinated with the Department of Information Technology (State Treasury) to organize training for staff to use the TABMIS system in Dak Nong. The students are 50 officials from departments under the Department of Finance of Dak Nong and finance and planning departments of districts and cities of the province.

According to the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics, the TABMIS system is a budget and Treasury management information system. This is considered the “backbone”, managing all revenues and expenditures of the State budget.

The training aims to improve the professional qualifications, skills, and ability to exploit and operate the TABMIS system of users in the process of data entry and reporting on the TABMIS system from the stage of estimating and management. implementation process as well as reporting.

The Treasury and Budget Management Information System (TABMIS) is component one of the Public Financial Management Reform Project implemented by the Ministry of Finance. TABMIS has been deployed and officially operated at State treasury units and financial agencies from the central to the districts since the end of 2012.
