Accordingly, after 10 years of implementing Resolution 33, awareness of party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people of Thua Thien Hue province has been raised; building Thua Thien Hue’s people for comprehensive development; healthy cultural environment; Cultural building in politics and economics has seen many positive changes; Cultural activities are increasingly quality and effective.

Specifically, the work of educating local cultural traditions and history is focused on implementation by all levels, branches and localities. The “Giving Gratitude” movement, humanitarian and charitable activities are paid attention and actively supported by all levels, sectors and the entire society. The movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” associated with building new rural areas and civilized cities is focused on effective implementation. To date, in the entire province, there are 1,104/1,106 residential areas registered to build cultural life, reaching a rate of 99.8%; There are 298,732/314,440 families registered to build cultural families, reaching 95%.

The work of preserving, restoring and promoting the value of cultural and historical relics in the province is of concern, especially mobilizing resources for social participation. Thua Thien Hue has nearly 1,000 relics and locations that have been inventoried and documented. 07 tangible and intangible cultural heritages have been honored by UNESCO and 163 relics are ranked (including 87 national relics, 76 provincial relics). From 2020 up to now, localities and units in the province have renovated 23 monuments with a total cost of 138 billion 754 million VND…

Festival activities in the province take place on a large scale, imbued with human values ​​and national cultural identity, Hue culture attracts tourists. Currently, Thua Thien Hue has nearly 500 festivals of all kinds, of which 65 typical festivals are included in the inventory list of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 25 festivals are included in the list of advertising promotions. promote tourism.

Thua Thien Hue province pays special attention to developing cultural industry along with building and perfecting the cultural market. To deserve to be the unique cultural and tourism center of the country, Thua Thien Hue province focuses on promoting international cooperation in culture, improving the quality of tourism products and village tours, craft village. Thua Thien Hue province has many policies and measures to lead and direct units to focus on building a team of cultural workers with appropriate quantity and quality.

Reporting at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho affirmed that Hue culture and Hue people are always concerned by the provincial leaders. Many cultural values ​​have been preserved and upgraded into brands and people’s livelihood values ​​such as Hue – Capital of Cuisine, Hue – Capital of Ao Dai… Hue cultural values ​​and Hue people have become An important foundation, a criterion for moving towards a future heritage city.

Comrade Phan Ngoc Tho shared: The difficulties of grassroots culture, especially human difficulties, “the team of grassroots cultural officials is both lacking and weak”.
