At the meeting, 100% of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Council delegates present voted to approve Mr. Dinh Ngoc Khoa (former Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police) to resign from his duties as a Provincial People’s Council delegate due to a job change.

At the same time, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan was dismissed from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; dismissed the position of Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province for Mr. Le Duy Thanh; dismissed the Provincial People’s Council deputies for Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, Mr. Le Duy Thanh and Mr. Pham Hoang Anh.

Previously, the Police Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security prosecuted the defendant and temporarily detained Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan (Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province), Mr. Le Duy Thanh ( Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee), Mr. Pham Hoang Anh (Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Construction of Vinh Phuc province), were all charged with accepting bribes.

That is the result of expanding the investigation into the case of Violation of accounting regulations causing serious consequences; Bribery; Violation of bidding regulations causing serious consequences and taking advantage of influence over people with positions and powers to seek personal gain, occurred at Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company, Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company and Thang Long Real Estate, Quang Ngai province, Vinh Phuc province and related units and localities.

Yesterday afternoon (April 24), the Central Inspection Committee announced a disciplinary warning against Mr. Dinh Ngoc Khoa (Principal of the People’s Public Security University of Technology and Logistics, Ministry of Public Security, former Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police) along with many provincial leaders and departments in Vinh Phuc.

Approved the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units

At the morning meeting of April 25, the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province considered and passed 4 thematic resolutions, including: Resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units of Vinh Phuc province, period 2023 – 2025 ; Resolution on promulgating the list of public service services using the State budget in the field of agriculture and rural development;

Resolution to repeal Resolution No. 31 of the Provincial People’s Council on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in Vinh Phuc province in the coming time; Resolution approving funding for one-time gifts to policy families, veterans and former youth volunteers in Vinh Phuc province on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
