There are currently 6 school divisions including 15 sub-zones, 1 mobile forest protection team (under the Forestry Department) arranged into 6 forest protection posts, each school has 1 post with 2 to 3 forest guards. . Each school division has at least 3 people, responsible for directly patrolling, guiding, and inspecting the implementation of fire prevention work for forest growers.
Based on the actual situation, school divisions, sub-zones, and forest protection forces develop patrol and inspection plans (including outside working hours) in their areas of responsibility and the entire forestry division to organize implement, have records to monitor and promptly report the risk of forest fires that may occur.
School divisions regularly proactively arrange forest protection patrols throughout the forestry division, especially in key areas prone to violations, including patrolling at night and on holidays.
At the sub-schools, develop and implement operational plans for forest fire prevention and fighting at the sub-school level. Establish forest fire prevention and fighting teams in key areas to be ready to fight fires. Arrange ground patrol forces and guard towers to detect and promptly handle fire incidents.
The regime of being on duty, patrolling, and checking forest fire prevention is implemented right from the beginning of the dry season in combination with performing professional tasks. At the sub-schools, guard towers are arranged at the same time as sub-zone forces, forest protection staff regularly patrol the ground to control people entering and exiting the forest, propagate, and guide construction and treatment of vegetation. , as a fire barrier.
From the beginning of the 2024 dry season until now, at Xuan Loc Protection Forest Management Board, the forest fire prevention and fighting situation is still safe, no forest fires have occurred. However, some households carelessly handle vegetation, causing scorched leaves, affecting forest trees planted on the contracted area.
