Vung Tau sea

Vung Tau coastal city festival

During the holiday season of April 30 – May 1 this year, Ba Ria – Vung Tau organized the event “The Maris Vung Tau Coastal City Festival”

“The Maris Coastal City Festival” – a colorful cultural and tourism festival, is held at The Maris Vung Tau project (3/2 Street, Ward 10, Vung Tau City) from December 27 to 28. April 2024. The event promises to bring residents and visitors unforgettable cultural and entertainment experiences.

With the coordination between the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and TDG Group Company, “The Maris Coastal City Festival” with 12 activity clusters and 30 diverse events, from traditional art performances such as lion – lion – dragon dances, exhibitions of past and present images of Vung Tau, camping space and outdoor cinema to music shows “Colorful Dance”, flamenco music bands and marine sports activities.

In particular, within the framework of this festival there will be more than 25 culinary booths with nearly 50 quintessential dishes of Vietnamese and international culinary culture. This is an opportunity for visitors to enjoy delicious dishes from around the world right in the coastal city of Vung Tau.

In addition, the festival promises to bring an experiential space for children with a play area specifically for children. The miniature landscapes and photo shooting spaces are designed in a festive atmosphere so that families can have memorable moments of love. The children’s play area is designed with movement games, painting, painting… to help children have a creative and safe space to play.

Hon Ba

Hon Ba is a small island with an area of ​​about 5,000 square meters. Hon Ba Island has spiritual meaning to the people of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and tourists from near and far.

On Hon Ba Island, every time the tide is low, along the rocky path to the island, visitors will see a small temple called Hon Ba Temple, this is said to be a very sacred place, always filled with incense smoke because it is a place of worship. Statue of Christ the King

Statue of Christ the King (in Ward 2, Vung Tau City) is known as the symbol of the coastal city of Vung Tau. The statue of Jesus is placed on top of Nho Mountain in Vung Tau City.

The statue has a height of 32m, the length of both arms is 18.4m, placed on a pedestal carved with images of God and the 12 apostles. Inside the statue is a spiral staircase with 133 steps, running from the pedestal to the statue’s neck.

To get to the statue, you have to climb 1,000 steps 500m high and as a result, visitors will be able to admire the whole city from above with beautiful houses, with a clear blue beach and smooth white sand. Vung Tau Lighthouse

Vung Tau Lighthouse is located on top of Small Mountain (Ward 2, Vung Tau City), this place is considered one of the symbols of the coastal city of Vung Tau.

Vung Tau lighthouse is 18m high, 3m in diameter and painted white. Inside the lighthouse there are stairs leading to the top for a panoramic view of Vung Tau city.

Nghinh Phong Cape

Nghinh Phong is the longest cape in the south of Vung Tau peninsula, this is a place that receives wind throughout all four seasons. The cape creates two beaches: Vong Nguyet beach and Huong Phong beach, two large bays in the West and East.
