Nam Dinh province’s National Assembly delegation meets voters with workers

Attending the conference were Mr. Le Quoc Chinh – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nam Dinh province and delegates of the 15th National Assembly of Nam Dinh province, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and about 100 voters who are employees of units and businesses in the province.

At the conference, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation reported to voters the proposed program for the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; results and activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation after the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly; summarizes the responses of central ministries and branches to the opinions and recommendations of voters in Nam Dinh province at the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly up to now.

Right at the meeting with voters, officials, union members and workers presented opinions and recommendations focusing on the main contents of: Labor law, trade unions, social insurance, health insurance, salaries, housing, benefits, training support and skill improvement for workers…

Many voters want to improve the cultural and spiritual life of workers, especially workers in industrial parks and areas with many worker boarding houses in the province. In addition, voters proposed specific solutions to help workers prevent social evils, drugs, and high-tech crimes; There needs to be sanctions to handle units and businesses that violate the provisions of law related to the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Law on Occupational Safety and Health…

Accordingly, right at the meeting with voters, leaders of departments and branches accepted voters’ opinions and recommendations; At the same time, discuss and clarify some contents that voters are interested in.

On the occasion of the meeting, Nam Dinh Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 100 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to workers in difficult circumstances.
