Launching the Action Month on occupational safety and hygiene in 2024, Vice Chairman of Dong Da District People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung said that the entire district has 424 grassroots unions, with 22,461 workers, officials, and laborers and 21,874 workers. Trade union members are managed by the District Labor Federation.

At the launching and implementation ceremony of the Program “Improving welfare and benefits for union members and workers in 2024” of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the Dong Da District Labor Federation signed an agreement program. 2024 cooperation agreement with units, along with many practical support contents, contributing to improving the quality of material and spiritual life for trade union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded 55 support gifts from the City Labor Federation, each worth 1 million VND; awarded 200 support packages, each worth 500,000 VND in cash from the District Labor Federation; presented 150 gifts from the Trade Union of Phu Thai Group Joint Stock Company to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Along with that, the district organized free health check-ups for 97 workers, each check-up package cost 1 million VND; organized “0 VND Booth”, giving away free shopping cards to 200 union members and disadvantaged workers.
