Having your driver’s license revoked due to an alcohol violation and then re-offending
Around 9:00 p.m., traffic police discovered that Mr. NVL (born in 1984) was driving a motorbike on the road with signs of violation, so they checked him.
Test results showed that Mr. L had an alcohol concentration of 0.607 mg/l of breath.
Working with the traffic police, Mr. L could not present his driver’s license and said that a few months ago, he was fined 11 million VND by the traffic police in Dong Nai for violating alcohol concentration and other errors. Up to now, Mr. L continues to drive the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
After that, Mr. L walked outside the traffic police work area and repeatedly used the phone to “ask for help” from someone. It took a long time for Mr. L to agree to cooperate with the traffic police to work, and Mr. L’s vehicle was also damaged. Traffic police custody.
At the same time, while patrolling on Hoang Dieu 2 Street, Traffic Police discovered that Mr. CT driving a motorbike with license plate number 61S3-599… showed signs of having used alcohol, so he checked.
Test results showed that Mr. T had an alcohol concentration of up to 0.775 mg/l of breath.
Mr. T was taken to the alcohol control checkpoint for processing. Here, Mr. T said he worked as a construction assistant and drank beer after work with some of his co-workers. He admitted his violation, knowing that driving a vehicle after consuming alcohol was not in accordance with regulations.
“If I keep my car now, what will I get to go to work tomorrow, what will I get to pay the fine the next day?” Mr. T explained and refused to sign the record or hand over the vehicle.
It took the traffic police a lot of time to explain and request coordination before he accepted the punishment.
Taking him home after drinking, the two brothers were punished
At around 9:45 p.m., two men driving two motorbikes passed the alcohol testing checkpoint and then shouted loudly, causing panic among passersby.
Discovering the incident, traffic police quickly chased and approached a man to conduct an alcohol test. Through testing, this person had an alcohol concentration of up to 1,028mg/l of breath.
The other person, Mr. CLĐ (born in 1988), was driving behind and immediately stopped, pulling up on the sidewalk as if waiting for someone.
However, this person was also tested for alcohol concentration by traffic police. At this time, D admitted that the two had been drinking beer since the afternoon, on their way to take his brother home.
“If you don’t follow, you can’t. I’m afraid my brother will fall. I can’t let go, I’m afraid of falling, it’s a sin. This afternoon we drank at Crocodile Hoa Ca, we only had about 5 bottles but he was drunk and had to go with us. But I didn’t know where he was going so I ran after him,” Mr. D said.
Tested, Mr. D had an alcohol concentration of up to 1,162 mg/l of breath.
Both men were then taken into custody by the Traffic Police, a handling record was drawn up, the vehicle was temporarily impounded and fined a total of more than 14 million VND.
“The fine is equal to one month’s salary.”

While the traffic police were making a record, the man accompanying Mr. T repeatedly asked to ignore the violation because it was too difficult and the penalty was too large.
He explained that because he worked as a construction cleaner, today the investor invited him a few cans of beer after work and also drank too much. However, he thinks he is still alert enough… “The income is not much, a few hundred thousand a day. I’m dead, I can’t pay. Monthly salary 6 to 7 million. The fine is equal to one month’s salary,” the man lamented.
