At about 11 a.m. on April 25, on National Highway 1 (section passing Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province) a tractor-trailer fire occurred.

Specifically, the tractor with license plate of Phu Yen province was driving north-south, and at that time, the cabin suddenly caught fire. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human damage and the goods behind were not affected.

According to the driver, while driving the vehicle, he discovered unusual heat under the tractor so he pulled over, then a fierce fire broke out under the cabin.

The fire took place next to the auto service shop, with many oil barrels and flammable materials inside. The store owner said he proactively called the fire department and used an emergency fire extinguisher to put out the fire but was unsuccessful.

Immediately afterward, two fire trucks from the fire department arrived and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to the oil tank.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Initial damage was estimated at hundreds of millions of dong.
