Meet the need for infrastructure construction and effective land fund exploitation

High-tech forestry park in the North Central region in Nghe An was established by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 509/QD-TTg dated March 31, 2021, located in Nghi Loc and Do Luong districts.

This is the country’s first high-tech forestry park with the expected goal of being at the forefront of modern forestry development, producing quality wood and non-wood forest products. high quality along the value chain.

With a total planning area of ​​about 618 hectares, including 3 specialized functional areas. In which, Division 1 – Forestry tree seed production center applying high technology; Division 2 – Wood and non-wood forest product processing production area applying high technology, closed product chain, highly specialized, manufacturing and supplying wood industry auxiliary products and training quality labor resources high for the wood processing industry and non-wood forest products; Division 3 – Trading floor combined with exhibitions to introduce raw wood and products processed from wood and non-wood forest products.

The general planning aims to determine the spatial layout, architecture, and interrelationships between functional subdivisions, meeting the needs of infrastructure construction, effective land fund exploitation, and at the same time have proactive plans in managing and guiding construction investment.

General planning for building a high-tech forestry park in the North Central region to propose new development directions in the period up to 2045 and adapt to the development context of the entire region and inter-region, Southeast region. Asia, as a legal basis for land management and zoning planning, detailed planning of investment items; as well as project management and investment management in the next phase.

Speaking in conclusion at the meeting after listening to comments from relevant sectors and units, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee stated clearly: The high-tech forestry park includes many different fields including: agriculture, forestry, industry, commerce, and science and technology. Therefore, the General Planning for Forestry Park Construction needs to update the orientations, integrate and chain the planning system according to the planning law to combine most effectively the development orientations of the forestry area. related fields.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the consulting unit to receive comments from relevant departments and localities, closely following the roadmap to complete the General Planning before May 10, 2024. The consulting unit and departments, Do Luong and Nghi Loc districts coordinate closely to speed up the completion of the Planning, ensure quality, and avoid errors.

Nghe An Province wishes to build a high-tech forestry park to build models to transfer and train scientific and technical advances; act as an important nucleus to promote high-tech agricultural production in the province. The province will continue to implement preferential policies strong enough to attract investment and encourage agricultural production models with high scientific and technological content.
