Inspect and guide the implementation of new rural criteria in the city. Cong River

On April 25, the Working Group of the Coordination Office of the National Target Program for New Rural Construction (NTM) in Thai Nguyen province worked with the City. Song Cong to inspect and guide the implementation of advanced NTM criteria and model NTMs for communes registering to meet standards in 2024 (photo).

According to plan, this year, City. Song Cong strives for Ba Xuyen commune to reach the goal of simultaneously improving NTM and model NTM; Tan Quang commune meets advanced rural standards; Binh Son commune completes 2 criteria (income and living environment quality) of advanced rural standards. The city also strives to have 7 more hamlets meeting model rural standards, including: Ly Nhan (Ba Xuyen commune); Moi, Bai Lai (Tan Quang commune); Ba Van 1, Tan Tien, Tien Tien, Phu Son (Binh Son commune).

Through review, up to now the above localities have basically fulfilled the criteria. Some criteria that have not been met include: Quality of living environment, percentage of households using clean water according to standards, environmental landscape, percentage of commune roads ensuring green – clean – beautiful…

At the working session, members of the delegation discussed and clarified a number of contents related to the process of building enhanced NTM communes and model NTM communes. It focuses on targets and criteria that localities have not yet met, to propose solutions for implementation in the future. The delegation requested the City.
