Khanh Hoa asked, Phuc Son Group did not respond to the progress of implementing the BT project

On the afternoon of April 25, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a press conference on the socio-economic situation of the first quarter of 2024. At this press conference, the implementation of BT projects of Phuc Son Group received great attention from many press agencies.

Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan – Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Khanh Hoa province confirmed that the locality is currently re-evaluating cases related to Phuc Son Group and needs time to review.

Localities will consider each specific project, with the spirit of handling it in a favorable direction to serve socio-economic development.

Regarding the unfinished BT project of Phuc Son Group, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Chief of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Office confirmed that the province has issued a document assigning the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over working with Phuc Son Group. However, because Phuc Son Group is in the process of investigation, the company’s representative has not responded, and the locality is facing difficulties.

Also at the press conference, Khanh Hoa province spokesperson Nguyen Thanh Ha gave more information about the implementation process of the bidding package that Thuan An Group is implementing at the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot expressway project.

Mr. Ha said that this bidding package is currently entangled with forest land. Since then, implementation has not been carried out.
