The event lasts for 4 days and is expected to attract 60,000 visitors. The exhibition space covers an area of ​​65,000 m2, with more than 1,500 traders from 52 countries participating, including distributors, importers, manufacturers and famous brands.

According to the Trade Office, Singaporeans are very familiar with Vietnamese products such as rice, seafood, coffee, chili and fresh fruit. In the first quarter of 2024, Vietnam is the largest imported rice supplier to Singapore. Vietnamese seafood has a market share of about 10% in this country. Vietnam is currently Singapore’s 10th largest trading partner, while Singapore is Vietnam’s 4th largest trading partner. Singapore is also Vietnam’s largest investor in ASEAN.

Ambassador Mai Phuoc Dung affirmed that businesses participating in the culinary exhibition in Singapore will help promote products and services to the global market, demonstrating the efforts and determination of Vietnamese businesses to go international. Besides, the Vietnamese Embassy not only encourages Vietnamese businesses to go out but also welcomes foreign business groups to visit Vietnam.

The Vietnam Embassy in Singapore will support foreign business delegations visiting Vietnam and help connect delegations with localities, associations and business communities. It is expected that in next May, the Trade Office will coordinate to support a Singapore business delegation to visit Vietnam.
