Lam Dong: Ministry of Construction investigated 22 unlicensed houses in Loc Thanh commune

(PLO) – The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction has sent an official dispatch to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province requesting to provide information related to the housing area. Construction without permission in Loc Thanh commune, Bao Lam district.

On April 25, PLO sources said that the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction sent an official dispatch to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province requesting information about violations related to the housing area. The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction requested the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province to specifically report in writing on the issues raised by the press so that this agency has a basis to report to the leaders of the Ministry of Construction.

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction also requested the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province to report on the handling of violations (if any) along with documents on handling violations related to the above mentioned unlicensed adjacent houses.

The Department of Construction of Lam Dong province is responsible for reporting the above incident to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Construction before May 3 to have a basis for reporting to the leaders of the Ministry of Construction.

As PLO once informed, on April 3, Mr. Truong Hoai Minh – Chairman of Bao Lam District People’s Committee signed decisions to temporarily suspend work for 15 days for Mr. Do Ngoc Can – Chairman of Loc Thanh Commune People’s Committee and Tran Ngoc Hoan – civil servant of cadastre, agriculture, construction and environment of Loc Thanh commune to consider the responsibilities related to the illegal construction of 22 houses.

Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee then also issued a document directing Bao Lam District People’s Committee to handle the construction of the above works.

The People’s Committee of Lam Dong province requested the People’s Committee of Bao Lam district to identify violations, prepare documents and procedures to handle administrative violations of construction.

At the same time, this agency also directed the People’s Committee of Bao Lam district to organize a review and strictly handle the responsibilities of the leaders of the People’s Committee of Loc Thanh commune, relevant organizations and individuals in the state management of built locally to prevent the above cases from occurring in accordance with regulations.
