On April 24, 2024, Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital held an online meeting with Higashi-Totsuka Memorial Hospital and IMS Vietnam on implementing a plan to invite Japanese experts for on-site training and Send hospital staff to Japan for training.
Attending the meeting were Dr. YAMAZAKI Ken – Director of Higashi-Totsuka Memorial Hospital, Mr. YAMAMOTO Osamu – Director of IMS Vietnam, cum Head of International Business Department, and members of the Board of Directors of IMS Vietnam.
On the side of Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Son – Deputy Director of the Hospital, MSc. Ngo Gia Tung – Director of the Line Training & Direction Center, heads of departments: Oncological Surgery, General Surgery, Required Surgery, Trauma I, along with doctors and staff of the Department of Scientific Research and International Cooperation.
The meeting was held to discuss necessary information for Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital to implement a plan to send doctors to Higashi-Totsuka Hospital to study in the field of orthopedic trauma and gastrointestinal surgery in order to Provide the latest knowledge and skills to the medical team. At the same time, Japanese experts from ShinMatsuo Hospital were brought to Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital for on-site training in the field of gastrointestinal surgery.
Through the meeting, practical plans for implementing the plan were agreed upon. Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital is ready to send staff for training and receive doctors from Japan to train at the Hospital, bringing Opportunities for learning and practical experience for the hospital’s medical staff.
