According to Mr. Pham S, Hoan Cau Da Lat Company (Hoan Cau Da Lat) asked to postpone the deadline to resolve tourism contracts, but Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee did not agree.
Previously, in November 2023, the People’s Committee of Da Lat City, under the authorization of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, issued a document requesting Hoan Cau Da Lat to hand over Palace 1 (No. 10 Tran Quang Dieu, Ward 10).
Termination of house and land lease contracts and handover take place after 60 days. However, even though it was nearly 3 months overdue, Hoan Cau Da Lat still did not stop business and hand over Palace 1 to the People’s Committee of Da Lat City for management.
Faced with the above incident, on April 6, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee directed the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province to carry out the process of revoking the King Palace project.
In the direction of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, it is required to determine the actual investment value to make compensation after project termination and recovery. In case of disagreement on the project investment value, invite an independent audit agency to determine the investment value in accordance with the provisions of law, and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on implementation results before the 20th. -April 2024.
In fact, in 2021, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province issued a document terminating the project’s activities at Palace 1 to proceed with land recovery. Thus, legally, the authorities of Lam Dong province have terminated the investment and business activities of the King Palace project.
Faced with Hoan Cau Da Lat’s failure to follow the instructions of the authorities, on April 17, Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee issued a further directive requiring Hoan Cau Da Lat to immediately stop doing business. at King Palace, hand over land and assets to the authorities before April 30.

After closing the above tourist area, Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee assigned Da Lat City People’s Committee to preserve the original Palace 1 and carry out auction procedures.
Recover Palace 1, must pay Hoan Cau Da Lat 56 billion VND
Regarding the King Palace (Dinh 1) project, the Department of Finance of Lam Dong province has issued a document requesting the Provincial People’s Committee to reimburse costs to Hoan Cau Joint Stock Company.
This is the agreed result after a working session between the Department of Finance and functional departments. The Department of Finance of Lam Dong province has proposed to deduct the state budget to immediately refund nearly 56 billion VND to Hoan Cau Joint Stock Company.
The remaining more than 17 billion will be put into the auction plan for Palace 1 for the winning bidder to pay to Hoan Cau Company.
