In 2023, the Ministry of Public Security has a policy to build a statue of Uncle Ho as a gift to Nghe An province, using socialized funding and will place the statue at Lang Sen stadium, in Kim Lien relic area, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. An.

The statue is made of hydraulically pressed bronze using new technology, with the idea of ​​recalling the image of Uncle Ho visiting his hometown.

This is a great policy, very meaningful in educating the profound revolutionary tradition, showing the respect of generations of leaders, officers, and soldiers of the People’s Public Security in gratitude for the great contributions of the Chairman. Ho Chi Minh.

The project demonstrates the determination to learn and implement the Six Things Uncle Ho taught the People’s Police as well as tighten the emotional attachment of the People’s Police force to the Party, government and people in the homeland. of people.

Therefore, the construction of the statue must represent Uncle Ho’s feelings for his homeland as well as the feelings of the people of the province for him, while ensuring procedures according to regulations.

At the meeting, leaders of Nghe An province and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism discussed and agreed to advise on completing the special procedure documents to submit to competent authorities for decision according to regulations.

Strive to complete legal procedures according to regulations so that the Ministry of Public Security can place Uncle Ho’s statue as soon as possible, on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s first visit to his hometown.

After decades of leaving his homeland to find a way to save the country and gain independence for the nation, Uncle Ho only visited his hometown in Nghe An province twice, on June 16, 1957 and December 8, 1961.

His visits to his hometown always left a beautiful image of a great personality but extremely simple and close.

Kim Lien relic area includes places associated with President Ho Chi Minh’s birthplace in his maternal hometown (Hoang Tru village); where Uncle Ho lived from 1901 to 1906 in his paternal hometown Kim Lien village; the grave of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan (President Ho Chi Minh’s mother) and many other relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood and his two visits to his hometown.
