In the first quarter of 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have implemented focused and key tasks, achieving many positive results. The Fatherland Front at all levels has been drastic in directing the organization of the completion of the Front Working Committee conference and the completion of the commune-level Fatherland Front congress, in accordance with requirements in both content and form. The Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations also carry out projects and work to welcome congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the Fatherland Front Congress of Soc Trang province with a total value above 70.6 billion VND.

Also in the first quarter of 2024, the “For the Poor” Fund at all levels received more than 6.3 billion VND. Since then, we have supported the construction of 24 great solidarity houses for poor households, supported 7 cases of poor households and households in difficult circumstances whose houses were damaged by fires, tornadoes, and serious diseases, with total amount of 65 million VND. Emulation movements and campaigns continue to be held enthusiastically by the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province in coordination with member organizations and sectors in many places in the province. conscious. Strengthen coordination with People’s Committees at the same level and member organizations to effectively deploy emulation movements and campaigns. Focus on preparing conditions for organizing the district-level Fatherland Front congress, term 2024 – 2029 according to plan, prepare draft documents, organization, personnel, funding… associated with consolidation , strengthen the organization and staff, improve the quality and operational efficiency of the front system at all levels.

On this occasion, two households in Soc Trang city with difficult circumstances and pressing concerns about housing were given symbolic plaques by the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the leaders of the People’s Committee of Soc Trang City. donated 2 great solidarity houses, each worth 50 million VND. This is a source of funding extracted from the province’s “For the Poor” Fund and contributed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities. In addition, individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the “Grains of Gratitude” model to support poor and near-poor households in Soc Trang city have been recognized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc City.
