Quang Ngai voters once petitioned the Ministry of Transport to direct and completely resolve voters’ petitions on repairing and returning civil roads in Quang Ngai province.
Information on this issue on the Electronic Information Portal on April 25, the Ministry of Transport updated the status of the results of resolving voters’ petitions as follows:
During the construction of the Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway Project, contractors used 23 local roads with a total length of 55.6km to make public service roads for construction.
As of March 2023, there are still 4 local roads with a length of about 4.6km that have not been repaired by the contractor or upgraded and expanded by the locality.
As of October 2023, the locality continues to upgrade and renovate 1 road, the remaining 3 local roads with a length of about 3.29km have not been repaired or refunded by the contractor or upgraded and expanded by the locality.
Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Transport, VEC worked with the Quang Ngai Department of Transport and the People’s Committees of Binh Son and Tu Nghia districts to agree on a plan to resolve the recommendations of voters in Quang Ngai province. Ngai is involved in the repair and return of local roads.
At the request of the People’s Committees of Binh Son and Tu Nghia districts, VEC transferred all funds to localities to organize repairs and refunds for the remaining 3 local roads mentioned above.
The Ministry of Transport requested that the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ngai province have opinions to direct localities to urgently organize the repair and refund work for the remaining 3 local roads that the locality has received. repair and refund funds from VEC; Transfer all records and documents related to the preparation, appraisal, approval of designs, estimates and construction completion documents to the investor to carry out the final settlement of the project according to regulations.
