On April 25, the leader of the People’s Committee of Son Thanh Dong commune (Tay Hoa district) – said that the commune police were verifying the clip of a female student at Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School being assaulted by a relative of a classmate.
According to the clip posted on social networking sites, a girl wearing a black jacket repeatedly hits a female student wearing a school uniform in the face, accompanied by challenges and interrogations.
Through verification, the incident occurred on the morning of April 23. The female student beaten in the clip was Tran Nhat V, a student of class 7E, Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School (Son Thanh Dong commune). The person wearing the black shirt is Tran Thi Tinh (born 2005, residing in Son Thanh Dong commune), a relative of female student Tran Thi T (classmate of V).
According to initial information, on the morning of April 23, before class, Ms. Ton Nu Hong T – homeroom teacher of class 7E at Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School checked and confiscated electronic cigarettes in female student T’s bag.
Because he thought V had announced that T brought e-cigarettes to class for the homeroom teacher to check, at break time, T asked V to go outside the school gate to meet his aunt Tinh to talk.
When meeting V, Tinh continuously cursed, interrogated and then used her hand to hit V many times in the face.
Talking to Labor, the leader of Tay Hoa District People’s Committee – said that the district has directed the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the District Police to clarify the case and will provide specific information later.
