Information about BT (build – transfer) projects invested by Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company (referred to as Phuc Son Group), Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Khanh Hoa province, said the locality is monitoring and re-evaluating related cases and the review takes time.

According to the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Khanh Hoa province, the locality will consider each specific project, with the spirit of handling it in a favorable direction to serve the people and socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Chief of Office of the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province, said that the provincial leaders have issued a document assigning departments and branches to work with Phuc Son Group to clearly determine how to deploy and implement projects. ; difficulties and problems, as well as propose plans in the future, if the company cannot continue to implement them.
Despite contacting representatives of Phuc Son Group, up to now we have not received a response, according to Mr. Ha.
Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee said that in the coming time, he will continue to monitor and invite representatives of Phuc Son Group to work. When there are working results, the Department of Planning and Investment along with other departments and branches will calculate and advise the Provincial People’s Committee on continuing to implement Phuc Son’s projects.
“It is possible to separate the projects and calculate them for further implementation, because some of Phuc Son’s construction projects are important traffic projects, such as Ngoc Hoi intersection, affecting traffic in the whole area. “We can’t just leave it there after so many years of slow progress,” Mr. Ha said.

Like Dan Tri informed that, in early April, following the request of the Police Department investigating crimes related to corruption, economics, and smuggling (Ministry of Public Security), Khanh Hoa province requested departments and branches of this locality to providing information and documents about 5 projects that Phuc Son Group and its member companies are investors and constructors in the area.
The 5 projects include: Flood drainage system from Phu Vinh bridge to the beginning of Tac River – Nha Trang; 2 Nha Trang Road to Da Lat (Lam Dong) projects, phases 1 and 2; Phong Chau road project and Cam Ranh international airport project.
In addition to these 5 projects, Khanh Hoa province signed 3 BT contracts with Phuc Son Group, in exchange for the business being able to exploit part of the Nha Trang airport land fund to repay capital.
Phuc Son Group was also assigned to implement two real estate projects in Phuc Khanh Urban Area 1 and 2 with a total investment of hundreds of billions of VND. However, up to now these projects are still “on paper”.
At the end of February, the Police Investigation Agency prosecuted the defendant and temporarily detained Mr. Nguyen Van Hau (aka “Hau Phao”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company), on charges of violating regulations on accounting causes serious consequences.
