Dismiss deputies of the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province for cases of job transfer and law violations

Carrying out personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People’s Council, at the meeting, 100% of the Provincial People’s Council delegates present voted to approve Mr. Dinh Ngoc Khoa’s resignation from his duties as a delegate of the Provincial People’s Council. Provincial residents are transferred to other places due to mobilization and assignment by competent authorities. Mr. Khoa is currently the Principal of the People’s Public Security University of Logistics and Technology, Ministry of Public Security, and former Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police. At the 40th session on April 23 – 24, the Central Inspection Committee disciplined and warned the Party Committee of the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province for the term 2021 – 2026 and 19 members, including Mr. Dinh Ngoc Khoa.

In addition, the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province dismissed Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; dismissed the position of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for Mr. Le Duy Thanh; dismissed deputies of the Provincial People’s Council for Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, Mr. Le Duy Thanh and Mr. Pham Hoang Anh, because these people violated the law and were detained. In March 2024, all three of the above key leaders of Vinh Phuc province were arrested in a case related to Phuc Son Group on accusations of accepting bribes.

At the 14th session, delegates of the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province discussed and voted to pass 4 thematic resolutions including: Resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in Vinh Phuc province, period 2023 – 2025; Resolution on promulgating the list of public service services using state budget in the field of agriculture and rural development; Resolution to repeal Resolution No. 31 of the Provincial People’s Council on COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in Vinh Phuc province in the coming time; Resolution approving funding for one-time gifts to policy families, veterans and former youth volunteers in Vinh Phuc province on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – July 7). -May 2024).
