On the morning of April 25, hundreds of workers of BSE Vietnam Electronics Company Limited (Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An) stopped working collectively to ask the company to clarify the notice of temporary layoff. .

Previously, the company’s leaders announced that due to low orders, the company would temporarily lay off some workers for 1 month. The workers shared that about 100 workers received the same notice of resignation and many did not agree.
“We were told we would quit our jobs within a month, and there was no specific information about salary or insurance during the break. Those who did not agree to leave were given gloves this morning to clear the grass on the company’s campus. The company will pay them according to the grass removal work. Disagreeing with this, workers stopped work to protest” – Ms. PTH, a company worker, shared.
Workers said that it is not right for the company to use the reason of low orders to lay off workers. Because while some production lines stop working early (at 4:30 p.m.), there are still many production lines that work overtime until 6:00 p.m. or even 8:00 p.m. at night.

Many workers suggested: if the company is having difficulty, they can take breaks on a rotating basis, work 2 weeks, take 2 weeks off. During the leave period, workers are still entitled to 60% of the average income of the previous 6 months so that workers can have income to take care of their families.
On the afternoon of April 25, company representatives had a direct meeting with workers but the two sides could not find a common voice. Currently, the authorities have grasped the situation and are working with workers at BSE Vietnam Electronics Company Limited, Nghe An branch.
A representative of the Nghe An Labor Federation said that the unit has grasped the information and assigned the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union to coordinate the solution to ensure the rights of workers as well as harmonize responsibilities between businesses and enterprises. Worker.
