Journalist Hoang Lam (Bac Lieu Newspaper) won the Consolation Prize in the writing contest “Protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new situation”

On the evening of April 24, at the Opera House (Hanoi City), People’s Army Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Journalists Association and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank organized the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the Writing Contest ” Protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new situation” 3rd (2023 – 2024).

The third writing contest “Protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new situation” received more than 600 entries from more than 50 press agencies. According to the assessment of the Contest Steering Committee, the quality of this year’s participating works has improved, many works have new and deeper approaches, and the content ensures both combat and theoretical qualities. educational, while also having a way to convey a vivid message, contributing to enhancing persuasion and positively impacting readers’ trust in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Final Council agreed to select 38 excellent works to award 3 types of awards, including: Prize for the Central press sector; prize for local journalism; Prize for the magazine sector. The prize structure includes: 3 First prizes, 7 Second prizes, 13 Third prizes and 15 Consolation prizes.

At this third contest, journalist Do Hoang Lam (Bac Lieu Newspaper) won the Consolation Prize with the work “Young Theoretical Club – the nucleus that protects the Party’s ideological foundation”. It is known that this is the second time journalist Hoang Lam has been honored to receive an award from this contest. At the 2022 – 2023 Contest, Hoang Lam won third prize.
