This is the first international Jazz program held in Vietnam, taking place in the coastal city of Nha Trang. Previously, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to take the lead in advising on the organization of the Jazz program. The program is a series of musical activities gathering many famous domestic and foreign singers and bands. internationally, to introduce to audiences and tourists the richness, diversity and appeal of Jazz music around the world and the flow of Jazz in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan – Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province, from April 27 – May 1, visitors and audiences can enjoy 5 free nights of Jazz music with different themes: The spotlight of Jazz, The Latin night, Jazz Flows, Living the legend and The Collection at the two stages of April 2 Square and the youth soccer field.
Along with that, tourist destinations in Khanh Hoa province also proactively build many types of unique services and products to put into operation during this holiday. From April 28 to May 1, Ponagar Thap Ba festival will take place with many unique cultural activities such as: Mother’s robe changing ceremony; Lantern release ceremony on Cai River; palanquin procession rituals; Mother Goddess incense offering ceremony; traditional sacrifices; folk games, demonstration of weaving and pottery techniques of the Cham people.
Not only stopping at sightseeing and relaxation activities, there are also forest tours in Khanh Son mountainous district during the day such as: Canoeing, cloud hunting, waterfall bathing, and experiencing Raglai ethnic culture. .
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh – Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism said that during the holidays, increased air tickets will also be one of the obstacles for tourists. However, visitors can choose to travel by car on the completed highways to Khanh Hoa. In particular, the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao expressway will be completed on April 30, which is a great advantage for tourists coming to Khanh Hoa.
This year, Khanh Hoa province aims to welcome 9 million visitors to stay, visit and relax, including 3 million international visitors, with a total revenue of more than 40,000 billion VND. In the first quarter, the whole province welcomed 2.1 million visitors, 2.7 times more than the same period in 2023, including more than 1.2 million international visitors, 5.2 times more than the same period in 2023. period.
