The first Bat Kiet – Thai Nguyen Chinese Chess Tournament in 2024 has the participation of 8 top Vietnamese chess players. The players participated in two events: Bat Kiet Chinese Chess and Performance Chinese Chess with a total of 18 matches. Notably, in the Bat Kiet Chinese Chess content, the Organizing Committee selected 2 seeded players, namely International Grandmasters and National Masters, in each group, making the matches more intense and attractive.
Chess player Dao Van Trong, National Master, Quang Ninh Provincial Chinese Chess Team said: “I think this is a tournament with the participation of Vietnam’s top athletes; this is an opportunity to interact and learn with the players.”
