Of these, 4 houses had their roofs blown off and over 70% of their roofs were damaged in Mu Cang Chai district; 28 houses had roofs blown off, roofs damaged from 30% to less than 70% in Tram Tau, Mu Cang Chai districts, Nghia Lo town; 101 houses had their roofs blown off and minor roof damage.
Hail and thunderstorms also caused damage and affected 2.2 hectares of rice in Nghia Lo town; knocked down an electric pole and caused a 15 m embankment landslide in Che Cu Nha commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
Estimated total damage is about 300 million VND.
