On April 25, the Women’s Union of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and the Border Guard Command of this province coordinated with the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province to organize many practical activities in the “Accompanying” program. with border women” in Hong Thuong commune, A Luoi district.
At the program, the delegation awarded financial support to build “Home of Love” houses for 3 women’s households in extremely difficult circumstances, each house worth 80 million VND; gave 17 savings books, each worth 5 million VND, to families of poor women members; awarded 30 Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships to students, each worth 500,000 VND/scholarship.
The total amount of money given to families and students is 340 million VND.
On this occasion, the units also held an inauguration ceremony and gave congratulatory gifts to 3 women’s households who were supported to build houses in Hong Thuong commune; visited and gave 320 gifts to students in difficult circumstances who excelled in their studies at Hong Thuong Primary School and Hong Thai Primary School, A Luoi district.
