(DN)- On April 25, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Quan Minh Cuong supervised the implementation of policies and laws on management and use. General Director of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Do Minh Tuan said that previously, the unit was assigned to manage and use an area of more than 37.4 thousand hectares. According to the plan, the Corporation will hand over more than 10 thousand hectares to the province, currently more than 3.6 thousand hectares have been handed over.
Over time, the Corporation has managed and used land in accordance with regulations and increasingly effectively. The Corporation has set up boundary markers and has been certified by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment as a basis to prevent new cases of land encroachment.
Regimes and policies for employees are guaranteed. In addition, the Corporation also actively participates in social activities in the province.
Besides the results achieved, the management and use of land is sometimes not timely. In recent years, agricultural land prices in the province have increased, and there have been cases of people encroaching on land, buying, selling, and transferring illegally.
Currently, more than 900 hectares have been handed over to the locality by the Corporation, but the province has not yet decided to withdraw it to complete the procedure.

Also at the meeting, the Corporation proposed 6 contents to the supervision team, including the recommendation to maintain the land use planning for 3 processing factories; create conditions for the Corporation to be an investor in infrastructure projects of industrial parks, industrial clusters and commercial services when the province changes planning on rubber land; maintain and stabilize the rubber land area to contribute to implementing the Net Zero goal of the Provincial People’s Committee.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Phi answered the Corporation’s recommendations on land handover procedures, carbon credit exploitation, and land use conversion.
The leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that the Corporation continue to coordinate with the Provincial People’s Committee to carry out the work of handing over land funds to implement key works and projects.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, and Head of the supervisory delegation said that Dong Nai Rubber Corporation is the largest land-using enterprise in the province. Basically, the Corporation uses land effectively, handing over land to the province to implement projects in accordance with procedures and regulations.
In the coming time, the Corporation must determine to put national interests first in land management and use. Use land effectively and pay attention to creating jobs for workers in conditions of reduced land area.
Proactively prepare plans to transform the operating model.
The Provincial People’s Committee is interested in directing and resolving problems for Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. Create conditions for the Corporation to transform its model and improve land use efficiency towards sustainable development.
