A 7th grade female student was beaten by her classmate’s parents in front of the school gate

According to a report from Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School, the incident happened at 8:40 a.m. on April 23. The volunteer (a student in class 7E of this school) was beaten by the parents of TTT (in the same class) outside the school gate.

The reason was that on the morning of April 23, the homeroom teacher of class 7E collected e-cigarettes from T.’s bag (this child brought e-cigarettes into school to sell to students, but the homeroom teacher discovered and confiscated them).

T. suspected that V. informed the homeroom teacher, so during recess T. called V. outside the school gate. Here, V. was beaten by T.’s parents.

Also according to the report, the person who directly beat V. was Tran Thi Tinh (residing in Phu Thinh village, Son Thanh Dong commune).

The police got involved

After the incident happened, Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School reported to Son Thanh Dong Commune Police and authorities.

“After the incident, T. also dropped out of school, the school will set up a disciplinary council to consider the nature and handle it in accordance with regulations” – Mr. Don said.

Regarding this incident, Colonel Bui Xuan Chien – Head of Tay Hoa District Police – said that he had received the information and that the district police force was participating, verifying and handling the case.
