On April 25, Cao Lanh City Police, Dong Thap Province, said they had just controlled and arrested a man who appeared to be addicted to drugs and had attacked many women on the street.
Accordingly, at noon on the same day, Cao Lanh City Police received information from Thanh Binh District Police about the discovery of a man with signs of drug addiction driving a motorbike on Highway 30, toward from Thanh Binh to Cao Lanh. On the way, this person attacked and kicked down a woman who was driving a motorbike.
Receiving information, Cao Lanh City Police deployed arrests. When going to Pham Huu Lau street in Ward 4, Cao Lanh city, the man continued to force the car, used his foot to knock down a woman driving a motorbike and then quickly escaped.

Using professional measures, at about 3:00 p.m. the same day, Cao Lanh City Police discovered the suspect Nguyen Hai Son (39 years old, residing in Hau Giang province) moving on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ward. 1, Cao Lanh City, so they were controlled and arrested.
Rapid test results showed that Son tested positive for drugs. Afterwards, Cao Lanh City Police handed over Son to Thanh Binh District Police for handling according to legal regulations.
The police inform that whoever is the victim in the incident should quickly go to the nearest Police Station to report and assist the Police force in verifying and handling the subject according to the provisions of law.
