(Congan.nghean.gov.vn)-On the afternoon of April 25, 2024, Nghe An Provincial Police held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Sports Festival to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2024), 49 years since President Ho Chi Minh’s birth. Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), 70 years of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024) and aiming to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Revolutionary Day Successful August, 79 years of Vietnam People’s Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2024). Attending the closing ceremony were Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, representatives of leaders of the Provincial Police departments, heads of delegations, referee teams and all athletes participating in this Sports Festival.

After 4 exciting and dramatic days, the 2024 Nghe An Police Sports Festival was a great success. This year’s sports festival attracted many officials to participate with 03 competition contents, including: 103 badminton matches; 21 women’s soccer matches and Chinese Chess.

Although it took place in unfavorable weather conditions due to the heat, the athletes tried their best, showing the Sports Festival exciting and dramatic moments in each round and content. competition. At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 First prizes, 11 Second prizes, 09 Third prizes to teams and athletes with outstanding achievements.
