Accordingly, for degraded facilities that must be renovated, tasks are assigned to wards to work specifically with each accommodation facility. For degraded establishments that have stopped operating, we request that signs be removed and licenses revoked, especially small establishments.”

Ms. Hoang Thi Tham, Manager of Huong Tra Hotel, said that with 70 rooms and 25 service staff, the hotel welcomes and serves about 300 guests every day, prices range from 400,000 to 700,000 VND/room. /day. To attract tourists, the hotel has invested in refurbishing and changing the interior, the reception team has also participated in training courses… For this holiday from April 30 to May 1, the hotel plans to welcomed about 1,500 visitors. The yearly goal is about 10,000 visitors.

Along with focusing on improving the quality of accommodation facilities, this year’s tourist season, Cua Lo town authorities also tightened the management of electric vehicles. Accordingly, Electric vehicles must be registered, inspected, have a meter installed according to regulations and have a circulation certificate to be allowed to operate.

Previously, when there were many businesses and individuals participating in this field, electric vehicles were mainly bought and sold without documents, the number of vehicles participating in the operation was large, business activities were chaotic, causing difficulties. Difficulties in management and handling of violations, conflicts between electric vehicle drivers and tourists… greatly affecting traffic safety, urban civilization, Cua Lo tourism brand in particular and the province Nghe An in general.

At the end of March, Cua Lo town organized training for nearly 300 vehicle owners and electric vehicle drivers on behavioral culture and traffic safety laws… In particular, for the first time, Cua Lo organized a driving contest. excellent electric vehicles for 10 electric vehicle associations in the form of theatrical skits and situation handling to improve the qualifications and awareness of vehicle owners and electric vehicle drivers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Son, owner of Son KaKa seafood restaurant, said that on the opening day of the last tourist season alone (April 18), the restaurant served meals to nearly 1,000 tourists. “Our restaurant’s motto is quality food, reasonable prices and customers are number 1. Food quality and service attitude must go hand in hand. How can we get customers to stop by and introduce us to others?” Mr. Son shared.

Cua Lo beach town is famous for its fresh seafood, especially the squid dish caught by the fishermen themselves in the local waters.

The People’s Committee of Cua Lo town stipulates that all restaurants must post and publicize price lists of dishes and services.

One of the highlights of this year’s Cua Lo Beach Tourism season is the VinWonders Cua Hoi project of Vingroup.

With a total area of ​​34 hectares, the total investment is nearly 4,000 billion VND for many items such as: Phu Hoa Fair Park; Light Square; Tropical Paradise Water Park; Future Avenue commercial street and cable car line connecting Cua Hoi entertainment area to Ngu Island are 3.5km long… VinWonders Cua Hoi promises to bring visitors world-class entertainment experiences, playing the role of important in further promoting the development of Cua Lo tourism industry.

VinWonders Cua Hoi project is expected to come into operation from early June.

On the evening of April 18, Cua Lo town organized an art program to open the 2024 Cua Lo Tourism season with the theme “Cua Lo – Desire to shine”. Just on the opening day, there were about 35,000 tourists and people returning to Cua Lo. In total, during the 3 days of the festival, Cua Lo welcomed more than 65,000 visitors, with revenue of about 70 billion VND.

During the holiday from April 30 to May 1 last year, Cua Lo welcomed and served more than 100,000 visitors.tourism, in which more than 30 thousand visitors stayed. For the whole year of 2023, Cua Lo will welcome and serve more than 3.6 million tourists, reaching 106 annual plans and increasing 14.2% over the same period in 2022.

In 2024, Cua Lo sets a goal of welcoming and serving 4.15 million tourists, of which 1.45 million guests will stay. Revenue from service and tourism activities reached 4,200 billion VND.

Another big motivation for more and more tourists in the northern provinces to come to Cua Lo is that in just a few days, the 30km route Dien Chau-Bai Vot Expressway, the section from the beginning of the route (National Highway 7, Dien Chau district) to the intersection of National Highway 46B (Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An) is technically open to traffic. The connection of the Dien Chau-Bai Vot expressway to the Nghi Son-Dien Chau expressway will shorten the travel time from Hanoi to Vinh city to only about 3 hours by car.
