Lamdongtv.vn – Lam Dong Department of Transport has just proposed a plan to organize traffic flow on Prenn, Mimosa and Bao Loc passes on the holiday of April 30-May 1.

Traffic diversion is expected when many tourists from the Southeast provinces come to Da Lat, causing Highway 20 to be at risk of congestion.

Accordingly, during the 5-day holiday from April 30 to May 1, Prenn and Mimosa passes to Da Lat allow vehicles to travel in two directions, but trucks are prohibited from passing through Prenn pass. However, traffic police will be on duty at this pass, and depending on the actual situation, proactively and flexibly regulate traffic between routes to prevent congestion and ensure traffic safety. For Bao Loc Pass on Highway 20, one of the main routes from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai to Da Lat City,

Lam Dong Department of Transport will divide traffic to prohibit vehicles with a load of over 20 tons, carrying minerals, construction materials… from going up in the direction from Da Huoai district to Bao Loc city in frame 10- 5pm, April 27-28. In the afternoon, go in the direction of Bao Loc city to Da Huoai district, from 2pm to 8pm on April 30 and May 1.

During the above period, vehicles with a tonnage of more than 20 tons from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat City are forced to turn left at the Madaguoi junction (Da Huoai district) onto Road DT.721 to Da Teh district and follow Road DT.725 back. Loc Son junction of Bao Loc City, then exit to National Highway 20 and vice versa.

Lam Dong Department of Transport requests relevant units to strengthen forces at passes and roads; Actively regulate traffic to reduce congestion and limit safety risks.
