Live pig price today in the Northern region
Today’s pork price in the North continues to move sideways, fluctuating between 62,000 – 64,000 VND/kg.
Currently, traders in Thai Binh and Hanoi are purchasing live pigs at the highest price in the region of 64,000 VND/kg.
Pig prices in the remaining localities are stable in the range of 62,000 – 63,000 VND/kg.
Live pig price today in the Central – Central Highlands region
Today’s pork price in the Central region and Central Highlands also remained stable on a large scale, fluctuating between 60,000 – 63,000 VND/kg.
In particular, the highest price in the region continued to be recorded in Binh Thuan at 63,000 VND/kg.
In the opposite direction, the lowest price of 60,000 VND/kg was recorded in Quang Binh and Quang Tri.
Pig prices in the remaining localities are stable in the range of 61,000 – 62,000 VND/kg.
Live pig price today in the Southern region
Today’s pork price in the Southern region is also calm following the general trend, fluctuating between 60,000 – 62,000 VND/kg.
Of which, the highest price in the region is 62,000 VND/kg, continuing to be recorded in Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap and Vinh Long.
61,000 VND/kg is the purchasing price for live pigs in localities including: Binh Phuoc, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang and Ca Mau.
Pig prices in the remaining provinces maintain stable transactions at the 60,000 VND/kg mark.

According to Genesus, as of April 11, the Philippines maintained the position of the country with the highest live pig price in the world, reaching nearly 86,200 VND/kg.
Vietnam holds the second position, with an average pork price of 60,000 VND/kg, followed by China with a price of more than 53,200 VND/kg. Mexico and Spain maintain 4th and 5th positions.
For pork, the price in Korea is still the highest, averaging nearly 87,000 VND/kg. Followed by England and France with prices of more than 67,000 VND and nearly 54,071 VND, respectively.
