Basically, the company uses land effectively, handing over land to the province to implement projects in accordance with procedures and regulations. In the coming time, Dong Nai Rubber Company must determine to put national interests first in land management and use; Use land effectively and pay attention to creating jobs for workers in conditions of reduced land area; Proactively prepare plans and carry out conversion of operating models and land use purposes according to regulations.

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong requested the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province to direct relevant units to consider and resolve problems of land use units.

According to Xuan Loc Protection Forest Management Board, the unit is currently managing nearly 10,000 hectares of land. In recent times, the Board has done well in planning and land management; protect, prevent and fight forest fires; develop production forests and intercrop medicinal plants under the forest canopy.

However, from 2019 up to now, at Xuan Loc protection forest, there have been many violations of forest management and protection, the establishment of contract contracts has not been completed, and there is a situation of illegal transfer of contract contracts. Many contracted forest areas have an unreasonable land use structure and the density of main crops is lower than prescribed. Thinning main crops and exploiting intercropped trees on protective forest land contracted to households faces many difficulties.

Dong Nai Rubber Company is managing and using nearly 34,000 hectares of land. To date, the company has set up boundary markers and been confirmed by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province as a basis to prevent cases of land encroachment. Enterprises ensure regimes and policies for employees and actively participate in social activities.

The management and use of land at Dong Nai Rubber Company is still inadequate, sometimes cases of encroachment and illegal construction are not promptly detected. Currently, there are more than 900 hectares of land that Dong Nai Rubber Company has handed over to the locality but the procedures have not been completed.

At the monitoring session, the Xuan Loc Protection Forest Management Board proposed that the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province propose that the National Assembly consider supplementing regulations on forest ownership; regulations and instructions on handling capital from people who have invested in planting protective forests. The Government considers adjusting and supplementing regulations on forest contracting issued in 2016 to be consistent with the provisions of the Forestry Law, Civil Law, especially the 2024 Land Law.
