Previously, on April 15, at group 12A, area 4B, Hung Thang ward, the Economic Police Team coordinated with the Traffic – Information Police Team and Hung Thang Ward Police to inspect the car with registration number 29D-517.xx by Do Van. Tuan, born in 1984, resides in Hang Kenh ward, Le Chan district, Hai Phong city.

The inspection process discovered that inside the vehicle’s cargo compartment there were 60 gas cylinders (suspected to be N2O gas). Tuan could not present invoices and documents related to the above goods, and at the same time claimed that these goods were purchased from an unknown person through social networks, transported to Ha Long city to find consumers.

Next, at around 8:00 p.m. on April 24, the Economic Police Team coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Team and Hung Thang Ward Police to inspect the boarding house in group 15, area 4B, Hung Thang ward owned by Nguyen Van Hoang, born in 1999. , residing in Nam hamlet, Lien Vi ward, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province as a tenant, discovered 110 metal cylinders inside (suspected to be N2O gas), checking the subject’s 2 cars and discovering 72 more cylinders. metal (suspected to be N2O gas).

Hoang admitted that a total of 182 of these metal cylinders were N2O gas or laughing gas, all without invoices or documents to prove their origin, because they were bought by the subject to do business and sell for profit.

The working group temporarily detained all of the above goods and vehicles and continued to verify and clarify for handling according to regulations.
