3 agricultural and forestry companies are subject to restructuring and innovation

(CTTDTBP) – On the afternoon of April 25, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, Head of the Steering Committee for innovation to improve operational efficiency of agricultural companies , forestry chaired a national online conference on arranging, innovating, and improving operational efficiency of agricultural and forestry companies.

The conference was connected with 42 provinces and centrally run cities that have agricultural and forestry companies. Attending the meeting point of Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee were Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tuyet Minh and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

To date, 161/256 agricultural and forestry companies have completed restructuring and renovation in 31 localities, 3 corporations, corporations and units under the Ministry of National Defense. There are 95/256 agricultural and forestry companies of 24 provinces and centrally run cities and 2 corporations that have not completed arrangement and innovation according to the approved plan.

Binh Phuoc province has 3 agricultural and forestry companies that must be reorganized and renovated, including: Song Be Rubber One Member Limited Company has been approved for the state equitization model, holding over 51% of charter capital; Merging Phuoc Long Rubber Company Limited into Binh Phuoc Rubber Company Limited following the model of 100% State-owned Company Limited to perform production and business tasks.

At the conference, leaders of localities, corporations, and corporations with agricultural and forestry companies shared difficulties and obstacles in implementing arrangements and innovations such as: difficulties with some mechanisms, Policies and legal regulations are still not synchronized, especially problems in finance and land.
