The National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2024 has 8 participating teams, including: Ho Chi Minh City I, Vietnam Coal and Minerals, Hanoi I, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Hanoi II, Son La, Ho Chi Minh City II and Thai Nguyen T&T. Teams compete in a two-legged round-robin format (first leg and return leg) gathering at the host locality to calculate points, ranked from First to Eighth. Each team is allowed to substitute a maximum of 5 players in a maximum of 3 substitutions per match. The first phase will start from May 1 to June 1, 2024 in Ba Ria Vung Tau province; The second leg is expected to take place from July 2 to August 2, 2024 at the Northern location.

Not only does the number of participating teams remain the same, this is also the second year the organizers keep the prize money unchanged after it was raised from the previous season, specifically: The Champion team receives 500 million VND, the Second place team receives 300 million VND. For the secondary prizes, while the team winning the style prize receives 50 million VND, the individual prizes include: Best player of the tournament, best goalkeeper and player with the most goals in the tournament, each individual receives 20 million VND.
