Quang Binh: Photo exhibition “The colors of the homeland”

On the morning of April 26, at the headquarters of the Quang Binh Provincial Literature and Arts Association, photography artist Bach Chien held the opening of the photo exhibition “The colors of the homeland”.

The exhibition has nearly 40 photos about his hometown and people of Quang Binh that he personally took over the past 5 years. This is a cultural event aimed at celebrating the 420th anniversary of the formation of Quang Binh province (1604-2024), the 75th anniversary of the rise of Quang Binh (July 15, 1949 – July 15, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the province’s re-establishment. Quang Binh (July 1, 1989 – July 1, 2024).

Coming to the exhibition, viewers can easily see the image of Quang Binh through a series of photos of Gianh river, Dong Hoi city, Rao Nan irrigation project, Nhan Trach beach at dawn… in which the author spent a lot of effort, refining the frame to get photos that are beautiful in composition, reasonable in light and especially exude the rustic, clear beauty of the river and fields; the diligence and patience of workers in each field they are contributing.

Along with photos of his hometown landscape and human activities, this time, artist Bach Chien also introduced to the public key projects that have been and are being completed in Quang Binh, such as the 500KV circuit 3 line, the North-South Expressway in the East from the perspective of someone who specializes in hunting for the beauty of life.

Artist Bach Chien shared: “The images of landscapes, rivers, cultures and people that I introduce in this exhibition are distilled from thousands of photos created over the years. All are highly authentic, thereby providing new, interesting, and profound perspectives about Quang Binh; contributing to promoting the image, land and people of Quang Binh as well as arousing love for the homeland and country in the hearts of every hometown person.”

The exhibition is open until April 28.
