On the morning of April 26, some places in Ho Chi Minh City such as District 1, 12, Go Vap, Binh Thanh… suddenly had unseasonal rain, however rain happens quickly and ends quickly.

Mr. Le Dinh Quyet, Head of Forecasting Department, Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station, said that currently the hot low pressure area in the West is developing and expanding to the Southeast because the cold high pressure area is weakening.

“The cause of rain in Ho Chi Minh City this morning is due to the Southeast wind combined with humidity, causing unseasonal rain, but these rains are only temporary and will end. In the coming days, they may also occur. similar transient rains” – Mr. Le Dinh Quyet said.

According to information from the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station, in the next two to three days, the South will still experience widespread heat, and the Southeast will have intense heat. The weather continues to be dry for a long time, the air humidity is low, there is a high risk of fires and explosions, as well as the risk of forest fires at a high alarm level.

In the next 2-3 days, there will be localized showers and thunderstorms in the evenings. Watch out for strong winds, tornadoes, lightning, and hail in thunderstorms.
