315 inmates at Channel 7 Prison with good rehabilitation had their sentences reduced

On the afternoon of April 25, at Channel 7 Prisonthe Council for consideration of reducing the prison sentence of Kien Giang province announced a reduction of the prison sentence and release of prison before the holiday of April 30 and May 1 for 315 prisoners.

Of these, 73 prisoners had their entire sentences reduced and 242 prisoners had their sentences reduced from 1 to 23 months.

For prisoners released from prison during this period, the Channel 7 Prison Supervision Board also provides and supports transportation fares, food along the way, clothes, household items… to create favorable conditions for them. reintegrate into the community.
