Accordingly, hundreds of workers simultaneously stopped working from the morning of the same day. The workers asked for clarification on the company’s layoff announcement.

Many workers of this company said that a few days ago, company leaders announced that due to low orders, some workers would have to stop working within 1 month. In phase 1, more than 100 workers received notices to temporarily quit their jobs. However, many people disagree with this company’s announcement.

“In addition to the notice that workers will temporarily leave work for 1 month, there is no notice related to insurance, salary, etc. during the leave period. Those who did not agree to quit their jobs were given gloves by the company on the morning of April 25 to clear the grass on the company’s campus. And the company will pay according to the grass cleaning work. Many workers did not agree with this and stopped work to protest,” said Ms. PTH, a worker at BSE Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd.

Many workers said that the company’s 1-month notice of resignation was unreasonable because of the lack of orders. Quitting a job affects many things. To keep things basic, we recommend each person work two weeks on, two weeks off, alternating. And during the break, you will still receive 60% of the average salary of the previous 6 months,” Ms. HTY, a worker proposed.

On the same afternoon, representatives of BSE Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. had a direct dialogue with the workers, but the two sides still did not have a consensus.
