Phu YenA 7th grade female student, Tay Hoa district, suspected that her friend told her teacher to confiscate her e-cigarettes, so she called her mother and aunt to beat her in front of the school gate.

On the evening of April 25, Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School, Son Thanh Dong commune, Tay Hoa district, announced the above information.

According to the school’s report to the Department of Education and District Police, the incident happened on the morning of April 23. A female student of class 7E brought e-cigarettes into school to sell but was discovered and confiscated by her homeroom teacher. Suspecting that a female classmate had tipped her off, she went home and called her mother and aunt (19 years old) to school to “question her”.

At recess, a female student called you outside the school gate to talk, only for your aunt to rush in and slap you repeatedly in the face.

Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School said it would establish a disciplinary council to review the nature of the case and handle it according to regulations. The education sector has maintained three forms for many years: reminders, reprimands, and temporary suspension of studies (less than 1 year).
