The Provincial People’s Committee has approved the Housing Development Program until 2030; Thanh Hoa province housing development plan for the period 2017 – 2020, period 2021 – 2025; Review and adjust construction planning, add social housing projects in areas with favorable social and technical infrastructure conditions and high housing demand to attract projects. investing in social housing construction; Organize and well implement policies on housing support for beneficiaries in the province… During the period 2016 – 2023, the whole province has completed, put into operation and used 14 housing projects. social housing, worker housing in Thanh Hoa city, Nghi Son town, Hoang Hoa district, with a total of 5,478 apartments.

In addition, implementing Decision No. 338/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2023 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project “Investment in construction of at least 01 million social housing apartments for high-income earners” low, industrial park workers in the period 2021 – 2030″, Thanh Hoa province was assigned the target of completing at least 13,787 social housing apartments for low-income subjects, industrial park workers. The Provincial People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 228/KH-UBND September 20, 2023 to implement the Project; which defines an implementation roadmap including 02 phases: Phase 01 (2021 – 2025) will complete about 6,287 apartments and phase 02 (2026 – 2030) will complete about 7,500 apartments; Up to now, there has been 01 project (Social housing in Quang Thang ward, Thanh Hoa city) supported with a loan of 300 billion VND/03 buildings; Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam Thanh Hoa branch has committed to loan 100 billion VND/01 building and has disbursed 10 billion VND. There are 05 social housing projects that have been completed or partially completed and put into use, providing 1,817 apartments, equal to 13.2% of the Project target.
