Tra Vinh Electricity Company organizes a customer conference in 2024

Mr. Pham Hoang Nguyen, Head of Sales Department, Company reported the situation of electricity consumption in the dry season.

The conference is an opportunity for the Company to meet, exchange and receive comments and suggestions from customers, especially the electricity supply situation in the current dry and hot season; At the same time, inform customers about electricity load forecasts and electricity savings from now until the end of 2024. In order to better serve customers’ electricity needs, the Company recommends that customers continue to coordinate and boldly share monthly electricity usage needs so that the Company can perform well in load forecasting in the coming time.

At the conference, many customers had comments related to load; At the same time, recognizing the Company’s efforts such as: reducing power outage time compared to before, customer care regimes are getting better and better…

Mr. Diep Thanh Toan, representative of My Lan Joint Stock Company (Long Duc Industrial Park, Tra Vinh city), commented that the Company’s troubleshooting of electrical problems is still slow.

In the first 4 months of 2024, the load increased quite high compared to the average of previous years, focusing on production and residential loads in the province. By March 2024, electricity received from the grid reached 343, 07 million kilowatt hours; increased by 8.85% over the same period (315.17 million kilowatt hours). In March 2024 alone, electricity received from the grid reached 123.46 million kilowatt hours; increased 5.58% over the same period (116.93 million kilowatt hours).

Since the beginning of 2024, the Company has signed a memorandum of agreement with 47 customers with large usage output, from 01 million kilowatt hours or more, with the potential to reduce peak load when adjusting load.

At the conference, Comrade Huynh Ngoc Xuan, Head of Industrial Management Department, Department of Industry and Trade introduced the content of Directive No. 20/CT-TTg, dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister on increasing savings electricity in the period 2023 – 2025 and following years; Plan No. 77/KH-UBND dated August 16, 2023 of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee on implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg.

Mr. Huynh Chi Hai, Director of the Company answered questions raised by customers at the conference.

Mr. Huynh Chi Hai provided some additional information about forecasting difficulties in power supply from now until June 2024, the load capacity will reach its highest level in 2024, estimated to reach the highest output of about 125 million kilowatt hours/month; Satisfactorily answer issues related to power supply.
