Thanh Hoa mountainous tourist areas and destinations are ready to welcome tourists during the holidays April 30 and May 1

It is expected that during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year, Cam Luong Fish Stream Tourist Area, Cam Thuy district will welcome about 20 thousand visitors. Therefore, the Management Board has proactively developed a plan to arrange electric vehicles to pick up and drop off passengers, divide traffic flow, and arrange the sales area neatly and orderly, absolutely not causing trouble for visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cam Thuy Transport – Construction Joint Stock Company, Thanh Hoa province said: “We coordinate with District Police and Commune Police to ensure security, order and traffic safety. Security guards and tourism support forces are fully deployed. The electric vehicles are carefully repaired and put into use to best serve tourists.”

During this year’s holiday, Ba Thuoc district expects to welcome over 62 thousand visitors to visit and relax at Pu Luong Tourist Area and neighboring locations. Therefore, right from the beginning of the year, businesses and tourism service units in the district have plans to renovate, repair and build new accommodation facilities.

The entire district currently has 85 Homestay-style accommodation establishments with 125 stilt houses, 198 bungalows, 298 rooms, 966 beds; Capacity to welcome over 3,200 passengers/day/night. To date, the booking capacity at these facilities has reached nearly 97%.

To attract tourists during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 and kick off the peak tourist season in 2024, mountainous districts in the province have stepped up propaganda and tourism promotion through organize festivals, cultural, sports and tourism events. Accelerate the completion of traffic works, upgrade and beautify the environmental landscape at tourist sites and areas. Tourism businesses and establishments also renovate, upgrade and build additional facilities, bringing new, characteristic and unique tourism products into operation.

Mr. Do Van Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province said: “We promote the promotion and introduction of tourist attractions in the district; organize cultural activities and festivals to promote tourism; Promote construction and completion of roads leading to tourist destinations, building new tourist attractions.”

It is expected that during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year, Thanh Hoa tourism will welcome over 1.2 million tourists to visit and relax. Together with the whole province, accommodation establishments and tourism service businesses in the mountainous districts of Thanh Hoa have fully prepared the best conditions to serve tourists coming to the mountainous region of Thanh Hoa.
