Lang Son: Opening of thematic exhibition “Victory of Dien Bien Phu

Through vivid and intuitive images, documents, and artifacts, the thematic exhibition “Dien Bien Phu Victory – Vietnam’s strength, the stature of the era” gives viewers a profound sense of history. , especially about the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

At the same time, affirming the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, the spirit of great national unity and the strength of the Vietnam People’s Army are the basic factors that create victory. greatness of the nation; Honor and pay tribute to the merits and contributions of our army and people, especially the great victories and contributions of officers, soldiers, and frontline civilians who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

Contributing to the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province also contributed to the campaign. According to statistics, during the 1954 Dien Bien Phu campaign, Lang Son supplemented the units participating in the campaign with 700 officers and soldiers; contributed more than 45 tons of food; 5,300 tons of food; 200,000 man-days of road construction; Transporting thousands of cubic meters of wood to serve the work of paving the road and building many military stations for the campaign.
